So the first Fair of the year has been and gone and what a Fair it was! While some of the country’s attention might have been on Wimbledon and Berlin, at the NEC in Birmingham over the weekend the focus was very much on high quality antiques and fine art.
We were delighted with the increased footfall at our first Fair of the year where we welcomed well over 2000 visitors and saw 32 new exhibitors who haven’t taken stands with us before.
It is fair to say there was a real buzz in the hall with people queuing to get in on the Friday and many first-time visitors and dealers kind enough to remark on how impressed they were with how the Fair looked.

Among the many treasures of the past acquired for future generations to savour were an excellent mid-19th Century bronze study of a standing cow by Jules Moigniez sold by Hickmet Fine Art and ‘Troubadour’ c1865 by Célestin-Anatole Calmels sold by Garret and Hurst Sculpture.
We are now looking forward to our next fair at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd September.
